Community

A successfully performed project requires many people working together. Some write code or documentation while others perform tests to implement corrections or suggestions for improvement, or simply use the product to identify problems.

The team of the IX Open Source project consists of users, collaborators and members. Members have direct access to the origin of a project and contribute by developing basic code. Collaborators improve the project based on suggestions made by the members. Users only make use of the results of the project. The number of collaborators and users contributing to this project is unlimited. All contributions to this project are cordially welcome. If you contribute the codes or corrections and a special way, you become an active member involved in the development process.

Get involved

Every new project obtains its strengths in virtue of the persons involved. We invite you to participate as much as you wish. The role and responsibility of everybody involved in a project is based on merits. Every input counts!

You can get involved in many ways. Irrespectively of your type of involvement, we suggest that you become a member of our forum.

Users

Users make use of the products developed within the scope of the project. One of the most important parts is to use the products, to report errors, to inquire for characteristics, and similar. Your feedback can contribute to improving the technology. These users are not collaborators but make use of the products. Without users, there is no requirement for this project.

If a user begins to forward suggestions or corrections to active members, she or he becomes a collaborator.

Collaborators

Collaborators are people who submit suggestions, write additional code, or otherwise contribute to promote the project. The contribution of a new collaborator is always appreciated. All new collaborators who contribute source code are included in the list of authors.

Members

Active members are involved in the development of the code. Subsequently, you will find a list of active members who have directly contributed to the project in one way or another.

How you are involved

Make use of the products and give us your feedback.

You are now a part of the project by making suggestions and further developing the code.
